March 2018 Training: The EQ Advantage

Date:Friday, March 23, 2018 (8:30 AM to 12:00 PM)
Location: University of Guam's IT&E Lecture Hall (SBPA Building Room 131)
Registration Form: The EQ Advantage

Dr. John J. Rivera will present a brief introduction on Emotional Intelligence and why it matters more than IQ.

The Center for Creative Leadership found that emotional intelligence predicts higher performance about 80% of the time. Emotional intelligence is a set of soft skills that influence the way we perceive and express ourselves, develop and maintain social relationships, cope with challenges, and use emotional information in an effective and meaningful way. Anyone can grow and enhance their capacity for emotional intelligence. This is a must for leaders and those who want to take their development to the next level.

The AGA Guam Chapter will be hosting its biennial Guam Professional Development Conference in Fall 2018.

We are currently in the planning phase of the conference. Our next planning meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, March 7, 2018, 12:00 PM at TuRe Cafe.
