Guam Professional Development Conference (GPDC) Awards
Nominations HAVE CLOSED for the 2016 GPDC Awards Program. The following awards will be given at the GPDC.
1. Professor John M. Phillips Excellence in Government Accountability Award: This award recognizes the cumulative achievements of a government professional that has, throughout his/her public career, served as a role model for others and has consistently exhibited the highest personal and professional standards. Nominations are open to federal, local, or state government employees, and elected or appointed officials on Guam. The award is named after Prof. John M. Phillips, CGFM, CPA, MBA, for his contributions to advancing government accountability in the Pacific region. Prof. Phillips is a charter and lifetime member of the AGA Guam Chapter and retired professor of accounting at the University of Guam after a 22-year career.
2. Chapter Service Award: This award will recognize an individual whose participation is above and beyond the call of duty, for matters that have made a positive impact and improvement on Chapter operations, membership, etc.
3. Chapter Education Award: This award will recognize an AGA Guam Chapter member who has demonstrated an outstanding commitment to providing educational opportunities that promote the Chapter.
4. Community Service Award: This award will recognize an AGA Guam Chapter member who has demonstrated an outstanding commitment to volunteer community service by participating in a volunteer community service project or projects.
5. Agency Chapter Service Award: This award will recognize outstanding support provided by an agency or organization to the AGA Guam Chapter. Eligible agencies will have consistently made important contributions in support of the development and enhancement of AGA. All public and private organizations/agencies are eligible for this award.

AGA Members and all other, please fax registrations and/or Government Purchase Orders to 671-472-7951 or email to yhechanova@guamopa.com or rgerardo@guamopa.com no later than September 6, 2016 (Tuesday).

Payments or Validated Government Purchase Orders must be received by September 6, 2016 (Tuesday). Please make checks payable to "AGA-Guam Chapter" and mail to P.O. Box 1124 Hagatna, Guam 96932.
Cancellation, Substitution, and Refund Policy

Cancellation request must be submitted in writing to yhechanova@guamopa.com or rgerardo@guamopa.com by September 8, 2016 (Thursday). Any cancellation request after deadline will be penalized with a $50 administrative cost.

No refunds will be given for cancellations received after that date. No shows will be billed for the full conference fee.

Substitution of participants is permissible, with AGA written authorization. Written request for substitution must be received by September 8, 2016 (Thursday).
