The AGA Guam Chapter provides academic scholarships for students who intend to pursue degrees in business administration or public administration disciplines. These scholarships are as follows:
Herminia Dierking Scholarship Program
The Herminia Dierking Scholarship program is sponsored and funded jointly by the AGA Guam Chapter and Private Sector contributors in recognition of the achievements of the late Herminia H. Dierking, a Legislator, Educator, Humanitarian, Past President of AGA Guam Chapter, Past Regional Vice President of AGA Pacific Rim, and a past recipient of the AGA National Chapter Service award. This Scholarship is open to students who intend to pursue a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance and Economics, or Public Administration at the University of Guam (UOG).
AGA Guam Chapter Scholarships
The AGA Guam Chapter Scholarship program is sponsored and funded jointly by AGA and Private sector contributors in order to “advance government accountability” and transparency in all government levels by reaching out to all accountability professionals from Accounting Technicians to Accountants. This Scholarship is open to students who intend to pursue an Associate’s Degree in Accounting at the Guam Community College (GCC).
The AGA National provides academic scholarships for AGA members and family members. These academic scholarships include:
Rising College Freshman: One full-time ($3,000) and one part-time ($1,500)
Current Undergraduates: Three full-time ($3,000) and two part-time ($1,500)
Graduate Students: Two full-time ($3,000) and one part-time ($1,500)
Community Service: AGA can award two $1,500 scholarships for community service amongst the three collegiate categories noted above.
